Graziegiving

On Thursday night we had a Thanksgiving dinner in the center of Florence at the Ciro & Sons Trattoria. The dinner, organized by our school, was an absolutely wonderful way to celebrate the holiday even while being a little farther away from home than usual. We got all dolled up, ate, drank, and were merry merry merry the whole night long.

Our first course was an asparagus soup. It was incredibly creamy, and perfect for the windy and chilly night.

These were not for munching. They were for the soup. We didn't know that

Our main plate had stuffing, turkey (light and dark meat), cranberries, mashed potatoes, and sweet potatoes. It was fabulous.

OMG.
If you don't take pictures of your Graziegiving meal, it did not happen.

In the past week Jackie broke her knee and her phone, got laryngitis, and left the dentist with a filled cavity but an infected lip.

Even though it was really weird being away from Indy during Thanksgiving, it was absolutely wonderful to spend the evening with these beautiful people.

Happy Graziegiving, everyone!
