The idea of shifting a look from one thing to another in a matter of seconds has always intrigued me. It’s amazing how some articles of clothing can work in so many different ways in different settings. Here, I was focused on taking an outfit from one style to the other just by shifting a few key accessories.
This one has me feeling like an Olsen. All black, slouchy, with some loved and worn skinnies. Believe it or not, they used to be black. Now they range from blue to grey.
I was lucky enough to find these boots on super sale a couple of months ago. I feel like they never leave my feet.
To go from a more bohemian look to a more sophisticated one, I chose to alter my accessories. I switched up the shoes from boots to heels, ditched the hat, and added a classic saddle bag.
This coat was actually one of my grandmas coats. It’s vintage from the 30s-40s and has the most luscious fur collar. She found it at a vintage store and had it altered to be a shorter swing coat. It’s such a classic shape!
