Lady in Levi’s

The summer between junior and senior year I became obsessed with the idea of finding the perfect denim shorts. I usually struggled with the idea that they felt too tight or didn’t have the right cut and usually didn’t flatter my figure. What I began to see a lot was the Levi’s 501 short, either oversized or fit perfectly. I ordered my first pair in my waist size and they arrived soon thereafter, a perfect fit.

Since then, I’ve collected two other pairs. I now have my first pair that were light wash, and then a dark wash and a white pair. I pretty much live in them during the summer, which is why their advertising hashtag, #liveinlevis, feels so so relatable.

The purse was a Massimo Dutti sale deal. Leopard print, black suede, and brown leather all come together for a good old classic look.

I had the raddest pair of dark blue iridescent Birks when I was a kid. I got them at this hippie store in Broad Ripple with my momma, and I was ecstatic. I wore them often, and was devastated when I wore them to the zoo one day and suffered the whole way through because they didn’t fit anymore. These ones I got for a fantastic deal while in Europe. They’re comfy and versatile, what more could a girl ask for?

I found this shirt at the Gap Outlet last summer for about $5.  Aside from the chambray appeal, I also liked that it had a sort of architectural back. It makes it a little more exciting.
