SummerFest

Liz and I spent my last day in Milwaukee at SummerFest, following my first experience at a Rocky Horror Picture Show the night before. After being out until 3am trying to do the Time Warp and ultimately being too confused and tired to fully understand what was happening, I dragged myself out of bed the next day ready to tackle SummerFest and our ultimate goal: seeing Ryan Adams. We saw a few other acts in our wait, but spent most of our time wandering around waiting for Ryan.

We spent a good while napping on these rocks. Or I guess I slept and Liz watched Broad City on my iPad. These are #friendshipgoals, guys. Forreal.

We took a ride on the sky-ride during sunset to take some cute photos and enjoy the views. It’s awesome how much Milwaukee has to offer, including the skyline.

This awesome little dude was playing drums in the middle of SummerFest. I hope someday he’s on one of the stages.

Check back on Sunday for my SummerFest installment of  Currently Spinning. Let’s be real, it’s gonna be a playlist dedicated to Ryan Adams. What’s new?
