Had dinner with a few people near and dear to my heart a couple of weeks ago and took the opportunity to snap some pictures of Fat Dan’s, one of the most gnarly restaurants in Indy. We spent some time at the park before going to the restaurant to prepare ourselves for the food hurricane that was about to hit.
Gonzalo is one of my favorite people. If anyone knows a better or nicer Spanish architect boy, let me know because I will gladly raise you a Baby G.
Corgi in a swing. This has nothing to do with Fat Dan’s but it’s really important.
If you like tater-tots, you like Fat Dan’s. If you like hamburgers, you like Fat Dan’s. If you like good food, you like Fat Dan’s. Everyone should like Fat Dan’s.
We ordered some of the dirty tots to share. Dirty tots are basically the crispiest tater-tots, covered in pulled pork brisket, cheese, chives, and hot sauce. They’re so good, every single time I have them and I never regret it. Gonzalo and I both had the Wake n Bake, a burger with tots, cheese, an egg over easy, and a bunch of other good stuff. Observe: the happiness that this burger creates.
If you’re ever in the SoBro area head on over to Fat Dan’s for great food and atmosphere.
