Spent a lovely afternoon at the Louvre last week. It’s definitely one of the best museums in the world, if not because of its sheer size then because of the amazing content.
One of the best things is the airy and open atrium. The winding staircases coupled with the geometric triangle create an amazing visual contrast.
We first took a little time in the gardens of the Louvre, then headed to Napoleon’s apartments. They were extremely golden and extremely over the top and extremely amazing.
The windows of the Louvre also offer some crazy cool views, especially because you can people watch.
We only spent a little bit of time in the museum, because we had work to do (as usual), but since it’s free for entry with our IDs, we plan to tackle the museum one wing at a time.
