My school has these things known as “discovery days”……where we have no classes and are basically encouraged to go out into Paris and just walk and be around the fashion and culture the city has to offer. On our way to the legendary Colette one discovery day, we walked through the Place Vendome to find a huge art installation of white trees creating a lovely contrast with the buildings. We thought the best option was to take pictures, obviously.
It was a particularly chilly day so I was bundled in my lovely faux fur. I’m also pretty sure I was sporting two pairs of socks.
I dressed the fur down with some jeans and Docs, to really grunge up the otherwise hifalutin jacket. I added some additional contrast with a fully functional bag, my trusty Fjallraven mini Kanken. Greatest investment piece, by the way. Those bags are indestructible.
I topped the whole look off with a random scarf from the street market from when I lived in Florence.
