Filmy

Film is becoming less and less affordable to shoot with.
I love the authentic look of film as much as the next person, but $10 for a roll of film and $10 to develop it makes me shudder. I looked into getting an enlarger off of Ebay but decided it wasn’t the right time (where do you put an enlarger when you have 5 sewing machines?). These were taken with my digital camera in manual mode with a higher ISO, which gives a grainy look, just like film. They came out so well, I’ll definitely be shooting with a higher ISO more frequently.

I wore this for a quick brunch at Wild and the Moon one morning. It was windy but warmer than it had been in a while so I decided to forgo the winter coat and instead layered. This vintage vest I found at Chinemachine is amazing! Embroidered leather on the outside and fur on the inside, it also happens to be super super warm.
