Do you ever find something that you don’t quite understand but you just like it? I feel that way about a lot of things, music, art, and even clothing. I don’t think I really get FKA Twigs, Jackson Pollock, or Vetements sometimes, but I still find them very intriguing and enjoy them.
I found this t-shirt in the $2 bin at Chinemachine and just liked the graphic, even though I’m not sure what it is. I googled “The Mission” and they may be an old-school rock band but we may never know. The graphic is cool and that’s the main point!
I paired the tee with a thrifted pair of Isabel Marant pants. Chinemachine frequently has Marant items for super cheap, which is great. I have been pining for anything Marant since junior year of high school, and I’m always thrilled to find a pre-owned gem. These pants are like wearing a sleeping bag on your bottom half. They’re lined in silk while the outer part is made with a sturdy cotton. The paper bag waist with a pull tie to change the size is the cherry on top, nothing better than being able to loosen your pantalones after a yummy crepe.
